Embrook Stables was established in 2016 by the Langbecker Family. Within a short year Embrook Stables has become well-known in both the Thoroughbred and Equestrian World’s. We specialise in Sales Preparation, Pre-Training, Rehabilitation, Spelling and Performance Horses.
We are a family run business where Letitia and daughter Emma Langbecker look after the Thoroughbreds and Kerry and daughter Brooke Langbecker focus on the Performance Horses. We pride ourselves in giving the best of care possible to all horses that come to our property.
Letitia has had over 30 years of experience in the Thoroughbred industry, which started at Washpool Lodge. She has looked after many top horses which include Black Caviar and Buffering at Washpool and Ef Troop, Outback Barbie and Fullazaboot at Embrook.
Kerry Langbecker was one of Australia’s top showjumpers ever since he was 16. He has won many World Cup Qualifiers all over Australia. He now focuses on coaching daughter Brooke and helping produce young showjumpers. He and daughter Brooke travel all over Australia to compete at all the top shows.
With finishing school in 2016 Emma has followed in the footsteps of her Mother Letitia, with purchasing her first weanling in 2016 and selling him as a yearling in 2017. Emma has now progressed to having her own draft at the sales and preparing clients horses, with having a 100% clearance rate at her first sale with her own draft. When not at the sales Emma helps manage the farm alongside Letitia.
Brooke Langbecker has followed in her father’s footsteps with competing in her first World Cup Qualifiers at the age of 20. She has now travelled all over Australia competing in the World Cup league which she finished 6th overall in 2017. In 2018 Brooke travelled over to New Zealand with her World Cup horse Quintago I where she ran equal 3 in the Olympic Cup at Horse of the Year and 4th in the Silver Fern. She also competed in her first Australian senior team which saw the Australian Team win.
